This one has earned its place here. I added the Redshift ShockStop suspension stem to my gravel bike a few years ago and have put thousands of hard miles on it since.
The stem
I highly recommend it. It was totally worth the money for me and has been a huge relief on my wrists, elbow and shoulders. I liked it enough that I added one to Kim’s bike too.
9/10 recommend.

Then came the seatpost
After I installed the stem I was intrigued by the Redshift ShockStop suspension seatpost, so I added that too. Man, what a great product. It dampens the small bumps and helps the miles melt away as you pedal. We put one on Kim’s bike too, and we love it.
10/10 recommend.

These are not the cheapest bike upgrades in the world, but after years and thousands of miles, they are two of the ones I notice most when the road gets rough.
